        Them, technically, as they were non-binary. Which I should have said.

        You, however, thought I was talking about a trans woman and don’t understand that trans women are women.

      You’re right, it shouldn’t be any better. But to them it just confirms their belief that LGBTQ people are “mentally ill” and they can blame the suicide on their “lifestyle.” Ugh.

            As was shown to me… from the linked article:

            Friends have told NBC News that Benedict was transgender and primarily went by he/him pronouns at school but also used they/them pronouns, which Benedict’s family also used. Several other friends said Benedict preferred he/him pronouns.
