I follow all the instructions, but my potatoes never turn out like that.
Probably got deboned potatoes. A lot of grocery stores seem to be doing this. I prefer to keep my bones for stock, like the video suggests. If you ask your butcher, they can usually get you some bone-in 👍. Mine will even take the pinbones out of lettuce for me.
I’ve tried it and they’re delicious, bone in or out… 😜
