    I mean, it’s nice to get recognition still. If you never got a raise, then it would become a problem and you should handle it as such. But if you’re doing your job and already getting paid for it, then you’re already getting rewarded. The company making profit is exactly why you’re still working and can be paid, so unless you’re doing something you were not hired for I don’t see the issue with giving a little extra non financial attention.

      If you’re really lucky, the CEO might show you a picture of the third yacht your hard work and dedication got him!

        Casually admitting you let yourself getting abused by your boss and assuming everyone else does.

      If you contribute to the profit, you should get a fair share of the profit. And not some pennies while those higher in the hierachy reap most of the profit for themselves.

        You’re still getting paid even if the company doesn’t make millions deals, if I follow your argument, you should get paid only when you make the company money. Only then you can take your cut ?

        Isn’t your paycheck supposed to be fair ? If it’s not to you, then why are you still working there ?
