Who do you think suggested the idea to them? $10 says Elon directed Russia straight to a backdoor. He’s been itching to see Ukraine fail this whole time, I wouldn’t put it past him to directly interfere in such a way.

How exactly has he demonstrated his urge to see Ukraine fail?

EDIT: Still waiting for examples of this

He has refused to allow Ukrainian troops to use Starlink within Russian occupied regions to avoid “conflict escalation”.

It would be illegal to enable it within Russian/occupied territory because of US sanctions.

He also doesn’t let Ukraine use starlink in Russian-occupied regions of Ukraine, according to a quick google search.

Why? Can starlink not track which ones they give to Ukraine and not let any others work in the area? Or would that require competence that Leon Skum and company doesn’t have?

You’re asking the wrong person. I don’t work for U.S. goverment - I don’t know why the sanctions are what they are.

IDK, maybe that whole thing where he likes to selectively turn off Starlink, or maybe that time he literally went to visit Putin and then spouted some Russian Blood and soil?

Starlink wasn’t enabled in Crimea in the first place because of U.S. sanctions. The author lied about this and has admitted doing so.

Fucking Mussolini was said to have made the trains run on time again.

Even if that were true, that doesn’t make him half decent.

Well, what about if we compare ‘factories not on fire’ or ‘citizens lost on the battlefield in the last year (month)’ or even ‘incidents of explosive drone attacks’?

        Are they still half decent?

        That is Moscow and Saint-Petersburg.

Show me the Metro of Sotschi… or any other second class Russian city.

Russia has literally only 2 Cities partially on western standard. I think most dictatorships manage this, even North Korea.

how are they dysfunctional? Chicagos system works quite well and dc’s one was somewhat decent. Having some fancy chandeliers does not make a metro system good.

yeah but I think its good to challenge this shit. It likes to ride off the us transit bad thing. Which is true but then wants to combine it with, pretty russia train stations, when their infrastructure, including transit, is worse than ours. Which is saying a lot. Given china/india is doing a lot with their infrastructure, russia may find itself the backwater between two modern areas.
