When my GTI was in the shop VW gave me a small SUV to drive, that is in the same class as the Rav4. When I came back to get my car a sales guy excitedly asked me how I liked it and said something about how nice it drove. I told him I was picking up my GTI and he was like… oh… yeah, that’s probably way more fun. The SUV was like driving a boat and felt like it was drive my wire. There was no connection to the road, it felt gross.
Not a sports though. If I wanted just a wagon there us plenty of those. And rav 4 prime has handling and weight of a wooly Buffalo.
