Android, summit.
Mostly connect on my phone, haven’t browsed much on desktop. Waiting on boost for lemmy though since I used to use the reddit version a lot.
I was using Firefox on android for a couple of weeks, with a link of my home screen to make it feel more like an app, but everything I left the app, Firefox would crash. I re-downloaded thr DuckDuckGo browser and tried the same thing with that, and had much more success.
I also downloaded and tried Jerboa, but it wouldn’t remember my browsing preferences, always defaulting to Local communities, sorted by Active. Also, Day was the smallest increment under the Top sorting. None of that matched with my preferences.
Switching between Memmy and Mlem. They seem to compliment each other in missing features. Although as Mlem improves, I’ll probably stay there. I’m used to Apollo.
My eyes
You aren’t wrong…
Desktop browser. Firefox more specifically.
Memmy for Lemmy on iOS and Mac is awesome
Right now my main app is Liftoff, with Jerboa being a very close second.
What is it about liftoff that you like Vs the other apps that are in TestFlight
I like the ability to navigate by swiping, and also Liftoff handles images better than any of the other apps. There’s a slight loading delay on Connect and Jerboa, whereas in Liftoff, the image opens right away and you can easily swipe it away to close it.
Tried most I could find on github and the playstore, and liftoff was the first that kinda ticked all the boxes. Only thing I’m missing is an option to view all account at once, with a filter for duplicated subscription posts.
Jerboa
I’m using Jerboa right now. When I’m on my laptop I use Firefox.
Same
Same same
I use my eyes to read rule 3 of this community

Been using Memmy on iOS & the official website for Mac
I rotate between Jerboa, Connect, Liftoff, and Thunder. Lately, I’ve been using Jerboa the most though.
My eyes, usually
I’ve also been using your eyes, usually
I’ve tried all the apps and honestly they are all great. I use memmy mainly as I much prefer the UI. The only app I haven’t tried is mlem because it would not let me sign in and gave me an error whenever I tried
Mixture of Memmy and Mlem apps
Same. Can’t decide which one I prefer.
