The secret: at the end of the game leave a key combo (like a cheat code) that skips the tutorial. Anyone familiar with the game could just find it online any time they want to replay it, but new players wouldn’t know it exists.

To me the bigger problem is the fact we don’t have a written standard. Idc what people say, but if you buy a 10TB hard drive, then plug it in and the OS doesn’t show 10TB, then it can be easy to blame the drive manufacturer when the OS is just using a different prefix quantity, but calling it the same. There should be some way to know exactly how many bytes there are on a drive before you buy it, and it should match when you plug it into your computer. I don’t think that’s crazy, but the article is a little overboard for that sentiment
This isn’t the second price jack. There was one price increase, and then there is now the phasing out of grandfathered users. All users will have to pay the new price (which hasn’t gone up again). Not defending YouTube, but just pointing out there isn’t another price increase
🤔😜😆😬😮💨
Intelligence comes in more forms than just written language. Words can express emotion, but so can dance, painting, singing, even a glance can express so much. Why do you think it needs to stop at emoji’s? Your inability to understand what they are saying with that emoji is not a failure of the emoji, but your ability to interpret it. That’s like saying dancing doesn’t convey emotion because you don’t know what it is they are trying to convey. Perhaps you just need to learn more ways of expressing emotions?
I maintain very good dental hygiene, and my dental hygienist always loves me. These are the tips I’ve picked up from them as I’ve gone
For the best gum health, regular string floss is the best thing you can do. A waterpik is not as effective, and don’t use those one time floss picks both because they aren’t as effective but they’re also just super wasteful.
Saying “mouthwash” in general is not specific enough. There are lots of types of mouthwash. I personally always go for flouride and alcohol mouthwash, so it kills germs and provides protection for my teeth. If the alcohol is what’s hurting your mouth, use alcohol free anti-cavity (flouride) mouthwash. Maybe you’re using the gingivitis mouthwash? Or the alcohol mouthwash? It doesn’t make sense to say all mouthwash does the same thing to your mouth
It is not well documented that our phones are sending keywords to advertisers from audio. Are phones always listening? Yes. How else would they be activated. And anything you tell it after activating it is going to be stored. But outside that, there is no reason for phones to save what you say. Most of that audio is entirely useless to them. If you have the documentation of them sending audio recordings to advertisers, I’d love to see it.
Where are you that 7 days a week 12 hour days is full time? That’s literally just always working. Standard full time in the states is 40 hour work weeks.
Nah, it’s okay. The google chrome built in password manager is one of the worst options
“Way better” is an exaggeration in my mind. It may have a few nicer things here and there, but name one thing 1Pass can do that Bitwarden can’t? It certainly has a different UI, but I definitely preferred this over my former LastPass account.
I haven’t had a problem with auto fill. Especially once you regularly use their default ctrl+shift+L to autofill. It may also be worth noting that some custom fields, if you make the name the exact same as the field, it will include that in the autofill. One of the sites I use has a company ID, and it autofills that too.
Did you mean to say “removed”? We’re talking about the word “retard”
It means someone has a developmental disability. But that is not how people used it. They used it to call someone an idiot, 100%. If someone did something dumb, they would retort “retard”. How is that not exactly how it was/is used? Call them a bafoon, hammerhead, numskull, nincompoop, a schnook, make up a word for all I care. But to use a word that describes someone with a developmental disability should not be used as an insult. Don’t complain about there not being a substitute when there’s hundreds of options. You just seem to want to use it.
It literally is just a substitute for idiot. There are tons of words you can use. Here’s a list of 123: https://www.merriam-webster.com/thesaurus/idiot
Yea, I’ll correct anyone who says it. People may not love it, but there needs to be people calling out other people for shit. A little different direction, but still similar, is men calling out other men for sexist shit. Sexist men often don’t listen to women, but the moment their buddy says something they start to think.
You may lose a few friends doing this, but the people you probably want to be hanging out with will respect you more for it. I find people appreciate being willing to call them out, it takes guts. It takes a real man to call out sexist little boys, and also those who still use the outdated term “retarded” to call someone stupid.
I mean, it is the same people after all
I think it could definitely be possible to do locally, and I wouldn’t want a car where I have to connect to servers to connect to it. But I am also not sure I want a car that can be opened with a command on the car itself. The code to access your CAR being stored locally on the car itself, with no server side validation, does seem kinda scary. It’s one thing for someone to manage to get into your online login where you can change the password, it’s another for someone to literally be able to steal your car because they found a vulnerability. It being stored locally would mean people would reverse engineer it, they could potentially install a virus on your car to be able to gain access. Honestly, as a tech guy, I don’t trust computers enough to have it control my car.
