You see a chin area yes, but it is simply the bottom of the jaw. The human chin has actual muscle that goes below the jaw bone and can be moved ever so slightly which aids in facial expression.
That’s called “being a teenager” and having a character which the others can offer corrective criticism that is also a message to the younger viewers by proxy
Try rewatching with this context?
An ambitious smart young man who has clear life goals and the drive to serve the federation and push the limits of human expansion and discovery? His character is to show that all generations young and old are willing to further humanity’s/the federation’s goals of a peaceful coexistence and cooperation for greater prosperity for ALL.
Some of Wesley’s haters often come across as honestly jealous that THEY couldn’t be born into such a time and place.
Edit: furthermore, a character like Wesley is SUPPOSED to be the way he is. It’s not the actor it is the character. Young viewers were meant to look at him as a mirror to themselves, a way to imagine yourself in such a universe, someone to identify with and better put your mind into the headspace of the story.
While Riker is cool and funny, you are not Riker.
While Picard is cool and professional, you are not Picard.
People don’t be forgetting on lemmy!

Well, TJMaxx and Marshalls is different. Those items are mostly close out, clearance, etc brought in from other retail chains. So on most things there yes it’s some expensive brand you’re getting for a fraction. Unfortunately both those stores (Same company) have also narrowed that margin as of the last few years.
Truly! The scum of the earth!
Please, hackers wear cargo shorts and toe shoes sir
A Social Democrat believes in a mixed capitalist economy, with strong social welfare to support the people. They aim to achieve this reform from within the democratic system of governance.
A Democratic Socialist is similar but with some added much more Socialist leanings. They believe in social ownership, a socialist economy, worker/public ownership of production means. Democratic control of the workplace. And lastly some Dem Soc’s believe in a revolutionary approach to change rather than working from within. A “Throw it all out and start over” approach if you will.
I say this again for the hundredth time, FDR was a SOCIAL DEMOCRAT and not a Democratic Socialist. Two very and completely different things

I’m NOT a psychologist - Doom scrolling has a devastating impact.
My school had a field trip to something like this but we actually learned things. I learned how to read an electric meter, a water meter, and how to write checks (the only way you were allowed to “spend” your “money”) other kids learned how to run a register, and various other civil government and utility type things
Also makes it easier to keep track of the bigots and idiots

HOA is just a name, they take many many forms. My grandparents neighborhood for example has an HOA that collects dues and the dues are used to pay to have the roads repaved or fixed when damaged, and that’s it. No upkeep rules or anything like that, and there’s only a handful of houses in their small neighborhood that look bad from the outside, but that’s those people’s business
Lmao it was a joke because London is known for their extremely extensive CCTV network
