You forgot long term capital gains tax. There is no reason that the investor class should be paying a flat 15% tax. At many companies, there is a certain time of the year to give people promotions and then later on in the year to give raises.

Many grocery stores in my area have these wheel locks. If I recall from college, if you took the cart out of the parking lot by carrying it over the plant beds, the lock would not engage.
