Only pulled a couple shots but it’s definitely an improvement in workflow. Not having to temp surf is nice and the auto pre-infusion is a plus!
My only annoyance so far is that I like to rinse my portafilter out after I’ve knocked the puck and it does the pre-infusion so it takes a little longer. Not really a dealbreaker though!
It is! Pretty straight forward to install, but there’s a part in the instructions which mentions “be careful and don’t lose this screw into the group head as it will be a real pain to sort”. I would highly reccomend sticking to that instruction…unfortunately I didn’t!
Looks a bit like the old stadia logo 😁
I used to be super loyal to brand name ketchup but in the UK at least, the brands are taking the piss with their pricing. Since then I tried supermarket own brand stuff and for me it tastes miles better and I think it has more % of tomatoes vs brands.
Not saying you’re wrong! Just my experience recently :)
Unfortunately accurate. We’re in a complete mess getting looted by billionaires - one of which is the bloody prime minister!
37% love being cold and hungry.
Definitely not in the same genre but I can’t recommend Taskmaster enough. All the seasons are good but I’d start with a series that has a comedian you know you like in it and binge from there!
Not a huge fan of infused coffee personally but can see the appeal. I’ve tried a few “natural” beans recently that basically have the cherries on in the drying process leading to some really cool flavours without adding anything.
One of the ones I tried was this Colombian from Casa Espresso which was insanely lemon-y. Almost to the point of being too sickly sweet!
For me roasting your own beans is a case of “easy to do, difficult to master”. It’s a great hobby dont get me wrong, but the way this post is phrased makes it seem like you’ll be getting amazing results from the get go.
There’s a huge amount of trial and error and even with the best will in the world you might not be able to come close to what a local roaster can provide.
Can’t wait for Hoffmann to do a video on this monstrosity!
I’m pet sure this will be my next gear purchase. I do have a v60 but made the mistake of getting the ceramic version which saps heat way more then a plastic version.
How does it brew compared to a normal v60?
So good isn’t it? I did buy a few Burgeon tools after watching for a while! If money was no object I’d have all of them.

Same here, no sense wasting good beans so may as well blend when you don’t have enough for a full brew.
It was between £10-£12 per 250g bag which for the UK isn’t the worst I’ve seen but still petty pricy. I still think that’s fairly reasonable for single origin responsibly sourced coffee. I’ll use 22g per cup so it’s roughly £1 per cup.
Next time I’m going to give Limini coffee a go, they’re another local roaster to me but their single origin 250g bags start at about £7.50.
The most I’ve spent is around £22 for 250g for some square mile Kenyan stuff which was fun for a one off but definitely not an every day kind of coffee!
I usually have a couple Asda ES columbian bags on hand and they’re 2x250g for £5.50. Definitely not amazing coffee by any stretch but I can’t splash out all the time 😂
I do too! As a bonus they’re paper with no plastic so really easy to recycle!
I think you’ll have a great time! Check out this for a great starting recipe: https://youtu.be/j6VlT_jUVPc
Also in the pic the scales are set to timer so I know to press when it hits the 2min mark.
Exactly this! Maybe not completely necessary in an aeropress vs something like a V60. Also used to weigh the beans before and after the grind to make sure it’s consistent :)
Does it come pre-installed on any phones? Might be a reason the downloads are inflated.
