  • There’s something intensely mysterious to me about the American relationship to sex and relationships. As a result i am unable to understand the responses to this story.

What’s the deal with the boyfriend caring so much about who his partner’s parents kiss and fuck ? And then immediately accusing OOP of trying to set him up ? Seems like an unhealthy level of paranoia towards someone who’s been at your side for years. I also wouldn’t blame OOP for not warning their bf because there is nothing to warn about, it’s just an intimate detail of their sex life and ultimately a banal and unimportant one.

The fact that they were bad parents isn’t a result of their open marriage, it’s a result of them being shitbags.

  • I’m not much into it but I think Polyphia is a good example. I once got down a rabbit hole of related bands on YouTube, I don’t remember the names but it definitely is a scene. It’s hyper technical, definitely progressive, but you’ll hear little if any overdrive, kind of like the latest Tool album but taking it even further.

Tim Hansen from Polyphia is like nothing I’ve ever heard. He even plays on nylon strings most of the time, and he just shreds the fuck out of it. Check him out on YouTube if you haven’t already!

  • I’ve worked on a couple of Saas in Europe and thankfully GDPR has shaken things a lot. What you have to look for is terms of use where you are the controller, and the Saas is only a processor. In that case they don’t have the right to use the data you generate for their own purposes. This generally excludes telemetry like product analytics and logs, but even those must not include any user data, just an opaque id and technical informations.
