What’s the usecase? I fount tortoise-tts very niche tbh
Thanks for sharing!
Yes? Let’s not make this thread too, make your argument and let me reply, this is no irc chat.
The issue is the overuse of the word Nazi. Like the left is throwing at anything to try to make it stick, and we saw how Europe reacted to that. People have issues that are ignore by the ruling powers and we’re left there to fester for so long. From the grooming of Rotherham, to the sexual assault of Cologne, to the countless other instances that are facing EU resident’s life every day. There are issues that are not addressed. And just throwing “nazi” at anyone that try to bring these issues to life is inconsiderate and just circle jerking: “I think that sounds so cool to say Nazi on any random political post on the internet”.
Also, fuck off, fascist.
Thanks for proving my point.
Fascist definition: Anyone I disagree with. That’s some solid research conrade.
What did the pirate party stand for? I heard of them before, but not much what they stand for other than digital privacy.
I think this election was mainly focused on Migration, economy and green deal. Mainly why the right took over and the green and left lost. People are seeing the negative effect of migration more and more, and diplomats cannot hide it anymore.
Reminder that it’s always possible to unlock the bootloader and install Open Source Roms
I’m half retarded, any videos explaining the structure of Lemmy? No idea the difference between .ml and .cafe, is it supposed to be different subreddits? Or different websites?
because I have to create an account to use Android…
You don’t. Look into degoogled ROMs, MicroG, Aurora store, and f-droid.
Their main growth drivers are data centers, when demand will dry within 2 years, a bubble will pop. Especially when theoretical architecture of Neural Network change, the need for high performance will decrease.
What card are you using? Their Linux support in the past years is impressive. They even have open source drivers now (still beta). And thanks to proton, gaming is seemless on Linux. I don’t see the issue you’re describing?
Look into OpenWRT supported devices with mesh network. For example, get a couple of used Netgear R7800 for example, and you got yourself a neat setup. This guy has step by step tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4A0kfg2olo
Reminder than Tenacity is an open-source fork of Audacity.
I think the main culprit is CPU/MB, so that’s the only thing needed a replacement. Many cheap alternatives (less than 200$) that can half the consumption and would pay itself in a year of usage easily. There is a Google doc floating around listing all the efficient CPUs and their TDPs. Just a suggestion, I’m pretty sure after a year it would payoff its price, there is absolutely no need for a 110w/h unless you’re running LLMs on that and even then it shouldn’t be that high.
This sounds excessive, that’s almost 1.1$/day, amounting to more than 2kWh/24hrs, ie ~80W/hr? You will need to invest in a TDP friendly build. I’m running a AMD APU (known for shitty idle consumption) with Raid 5 and still hover less than 40W/h.
Noob question, how’s the lag? Playing games like Sekiro for example locally on my desktop, I can’t even use a shitty controller as it comes with high latency. I imagine a solution with a game hosted in a remote server would even suffer more than just a laggy controller.
I hate technologies that limit cannot use with another manufacturer’s battery". Smells monopoly.
I don’t get it, why else would you use VPN if not to spoof your IP address?
