They make vape cartridges that are used with a reusable battery. If disposable vapes were banned, they would become the more common option which is definitely better.

They’ve been focused on privacy for 10 years, before it was nearly as marketable.
This is a weird thread. Lots of complaints about lock in and companies managing your keys, both of which are easily avoidable, the exact same way you’d do so with your passwords.
What do you means by this? What part do you want to be open source? Passkey are just cryptographic keys, no part of that requires anything unfree. There’s aready an open source authentication stack you can use to implement them. You can store them completely locally with KeyPassXC for selfhost Vaultwarden to store them remotely. Both are open source?
Id like to add a lutris integration for it at aome point.
This was nothing more than a poorly executed joke from Proton. Some people are massively overreacting.
this is imessage
Even better, thanks!
Never thought to look for an extension for that. Thanks for mentioning it.
Every modern android phone I’ve used comes with Google Messages by defualt.
That is only on rooted roms and ones using MicroG. GrapheneOS is generally not rooted and uses Google Play Services by sandboxing it. I am using RCS on my Pixel 7 running GrapheneOS.
It does work on GrapheneOS, but you need to have Google Play Services installed.
Every android that has Google Play services has RCS, they just need Google Messages to use it.
Why on earth would you not just hand them the phone to put a song in queue. Also what songs are exclusive to a specific streaming service? Just play it on whatever you were already listening on.
Yep, and he soon after started praising musk and Twitter, calling it “freedom software” lol. Him leaving was what drew my attention, I like the way it’s heading so far.
As far as I understand, the protocol and client apps are completely open souce. I do not believe the Bluesky software is open source, so you could not host an instance the same way you would with Mastodon. I could be missing something or not underatanding, but that’s what it seems to me.
A great custom skin, and far better defaults for both privacy and speed, based on Betterfox.
The fact that a fork that simply has a better UI and default settings is gaining so much popularity shows how bad Mozilla is fumbling their product.
Bluesky is built on an open source ActivityPub alternative called “AT Protocol”. However, Bluesky itself is not open source and afaik does not yet federate with any other software. The company is a “public benefit corporation”.
From my understanding, Bluesky has good moderation, to the point where Jack Dorsey (the Twitter founder) condemned it and withdrew from the project. That’s a big plus in my book.
When you try do sign up on the Mastodon app it defaults to and recommends mastodon.social, which does nothing of this sort. The average user will just keep this default and be fine.
I know quite a few people that have quit through vaping, and even if they hadn’t, vapes are definitely better for their health than cigarettes.
