Mine is that all of the Matrix films are very overrated.

I am also confused. I can see Apple getting sued for this, but I have multiple app stores on my Android phone.
Growing up with iPhones that don’t let you change anything will absolutely make you less technologically skilled.
I know a few. Some of the younger people we’ve hired recently as more computer illiterate than my 93 year old grandfather.
Every young American should be taken to the Holocaust Museum in DC at some point. If that doesn’t profoundly impact you, you need a psych eval.
If that’s the case, they should also block Gmail.
Exactly. I’ve loved mine, only maintenance has been updates for the software, and occasional tire rotations.
I’m shocked. This definitely wasn’t predicted by literally everyone.
Yep. I stop for 20 or so minutes every 200 or so miles, and honestly I’m stretching it to go that long because my wife and kid want to stop even more often. I spend basically 0 extra time road tripping in my EV unless it’s a holiday weekend and the charger is packed.
It’s the shittiest way possible to save for retirement.
It’s very overrated, and devs out there, if you are using it, the rest of us can tell, and not in a good way.
It’s sad that anyone would associate Apple with ethics. They clearly haven’t looked into their China factories.
EV competition is here. There are tons of models now, and the Ioniq 5, for example, was rated much higher by many reviewers than Tesla models last year.
My child is also autistic, and my local school board was a nightmare. My kid is taking the GED this week, so we are thankfully at the end of that nightmare.
In my case I found an online school where my kid can attend class live or watch recorded sessions, reach out to the teachers in those sessions for help, attend virtual study groups, etc… It really helped compared to trying to do it all myself.
I pulled my kid, primarily because the local school district is awful, and because they harass kids (and their parents) into coming to school sick, leading to constant outbreaks of illness, especially since COVID. As an unexpected bonus, it was refreshing to see my kid actually enjoy learning for once.
So true about the messaging issues. I had one woman get seriously pissed at me for asking a question about one of the interests in her bio. She said something to the effect of “Are you here to interrogate me or what?” I was just trying to start a conversation, but I quickly moved on, she clearly was crazy or stupid.
Poly was actually my wife’s idea for many of the reasons you list above. It’s not just sex though, my wife is also not a touchy feely person, and I am, as she calls me, a cuddle monster. Thankfully we are good at communicating and deeply love each other, and so were able to navigate all of this without arguing, yelling, etc…
My wife and I are poly. Neither of us have found a long term person yet (Wife isn’t really looking because she is graysexual and doesn’t really want any additional deep emotional connections), but we’ve met a few great people who probably could have worked but for one or two incompatibilities. I’ve seen enough over the past 18 months to see that it definitely can work.
I had the same issues with my first wife. At one point when we were separated she attacked me in public and tried to steal my keys so she could take my car, while I was holding my kid. I had scratches all down the arm that wasn’t holding my child, and I ended up retreating into a store, where she continued to attack me. When the cops showed up I was immediately cuffed, and she was treated as a victim, despite onlookers and even her telling them that she had attacked me. I would have definitely gotten booked except that a female officer was called to talk to her, realized what was going on, and made the male cops uncuff me and arrest her instead.
At the hearing for a restraining order the judge literally laughed, and gave her partial custody of the kid with no restraining order for either of us, and the local DA let her off with anger management courses and nothing on her permanent record.
