Half the time in a city, someone who says “good morning” is trying to scam someone. It’s not the best strategy to flip a coin on entertaining a scammer.
I won’t deny that I have on at least one occasion stood on a street corner with a tablet in my hand, trying to greet random people with no ulterior motives.
No. People should talk to each other, or at very least not be condemned for attempting to do so in good faith. Being social is the most basic of basics for humans, and this whole “anyone who talks to anyone ever is a nuisance” mentality is ridiculous.
Just end that after the word “street.”
Just end it after “woman” /j
Just end it after “man”
Just end it!
Should have never started in the first place.
Then it’s not a joke
Are we living under shariah law or something? “Man and woman shall not speak to each other unless they are married, lest they be stoned to death”
When the progressivism comes full circle
That’s not Sharia law
Naturally…
What?
It should also apply to anyone, not just men or women. Don’t talk to anyone, just shut the fuck up.
You could start here…
Rules for thee, but not for mee!
No thanks
Sounds like a healthy way to live
Half the time in a city, people won’t even say “good morning” back.
American comment
True, this is a phenomenon I experience in America, and I did not consider it being different in other countries. Is it different in other countries?
There are definitely many many countries (or at least cities in those countries) where saying hi to people you walk past isn’t given a second thought.
depends on the city
depends on the person who says “good morning” and how they say it

Be the change you want to see in the world.
I guess you must love living in the city, eh?
I’m so sick of having to mime marriage proposals.
