Not that any death is worth more or less than another, but it is surreal to know that the people killed at the music festival were privileged young people completely removed from the conflict, and most of the people killed in Gaza are poverty stricken children and starving adults.

Look at what has happened as a result of refusing to make peace. Is Gaza faring better than most former colonies right now? Your example, Native Americans, may have some issues and may have been screwed out of their ancestral lands but they have full US citizenship, freedom of movement and freedom of return. They aren’t being bombed because they aren’t hostile and aren’t killing civilians.
