Yeah infinity war was better, I knew this the moment Thanos ripped that planet down with the power and space stones

Rollie Williams and Nicole Company from Climate Town on YT talked about this on their podcast a few weeks ago: The Climate Denier’s Playbook.
Car companies, at least domestic ones, are subverting fuel economy rules by making cars “like trucks” due to a loophole in the code about Light Duty vehicles (sedans are, trucks and SUVs kinda aren’t).
It’s the same reason we see bigger and bigger trucks that look like tanks and that you can’t see children from. Those bigger vehicles require bigger engines to move, hence more greenhouse emissions.
Jfc, I hope all women in Texas have their sights on eventually moving out and away. This is absurd
Are there any systems I (pun unintended) buy into when using a credit card over a debit card?
I’m still agreeing to a bank, for instance, when credit unions are an alternative.
Apologies for the naivete. Seems like my education failed me here.
But not too much! Some salt is good, but not the absurd amounts you’ll find in prepared food from the food service industry.
Also, make sure the salt you use has iodine in it. Lots of people don’t get that
They did have quality in the early 2000s, remember my grandma taking us their for their awesome bread. Sad to see it enshittify
What’s the issue with a debit card again? Are you saying that we should be using credit cards, or physical currency?
I’m curious to learn more about how shit banks are and how much better credit unions are.
Or are credit unions the only alternative?
Same thing with Brussels sprouts. Don’t boil. Toss in salt, pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar, bake at like 425 for 20 minutes, you’re welcome

As a junior engineer, wish management at my last job told me that. Since our team shrunk and lost basically all of our seniors, I felt like I was walking on thin ice with all the expectations I needed to meet. And when they have to train you + give half of the department processes to you and another junior, it can be paralyzing. Didn’t help that management was never around for me to ask for help too because they were too busy picking up other issues from people leaving the company in other departments. Ugh. Me being fired was always over my head
Right, because voting doesn’t matter. Got it.
Yeah I think the difference here is outcomes vs intentions (consequentialism vs virtue theory, if you want to be exact about ethics). Trump could support the constitution through his actions, but communicate his intentions otherwise: and vice versa.
What was the voting age at the time of that election in Gaza? I’ve heard that the average age of Palestinians is 18, although that might only be a recent statistic. If the voting age of that population is so young, you might imagine the ignorance that population would have towards issues, or the potential that population might have for manipulation.
Did that 2007 election take place like US ones, where only like 2/3rds of people even vote at all?
Questions like this really make you wonder if it was even possible for the election results that put Hamas into power to be representative of the general population.
So, all of this is to say that I agree with you.
This reminds me of how certain universities in the US allow space for Student Senate representatives so that the student body directly has influence on the outcomes of the university. Great idea really
Not arguing with you, but I wanted to contribute by saying that most people, at least in the US, are also deficient in magnesium, zinc, and vitamin D. For all this effort carnivores are putting into to convince others that their diets are sufficient, often times those making those claims haven’t looked inward to see what they themselves are lacking. Perhaps it’s a complex issue, dunno
Holy shit TIL, thanks
I feel like this can still be a native lawn depending on which biome it’s in. Seems more desert like than a prairie/forest type “native lawn” you might traditionally think of.
But yeah native can look different depending on location so I might be ok with this
Yeah I can’t watch subs. I don’t want to have to read for a movie. I want to see the faces and expressions of people or characters as scenes play out. If I’m reading subtitles, I’m not immersed and the story doesn’t slap as much for me.
