I have mixed emotions of love and hate.

Not sure if there is any more exodus left in their user base.
But the new new version is designed to be less functional. I couldn’t take it.
The first boss was stupid hard on Game Gear. Beating it was 50% luck. The MasterSystem version only had low bouncing rocks to dodge.
Mine has dead capacitors so I can’t play it any more. 30 year on, I don’t think I could speed run Sonic 2 any more. I loved NBA Jam. I have memories of playing in the car in the driveway because I only had a car power adapter.
When I worked IT helpdesk I created my own one of these. Others photocopied it, they were photocopied. Years later I dropped in and saw one of the new staff with my phonetic alphabet stuck to the side of his screen. (I think they were also still using my mainframe login ID)
I got to see them recreating this at the Sydney Royal Easter Show a few years back. You could tell it was scripted but it was still super fun to watch.
I like letterboxd for my movie review needs. It feels more like a community.
It was already April 1st in Australia.
Proud father here. All 3 of my children can hear this Gif.
I still remember the look on my daughters face the first time I casually put on looney toons. She was both confused and laughing.
If you run windows then try 🪟+. (Full stop) To access an array of ascii emoji.
I can’t see why not, if you know how to set it up. I am sure there are existing docker containers to help you out. But I am a Plex guy, not a Jellyfin expert.
In you use case I would look at Jellyfin. One of Plex’s main features is sharing across the web
I am playing through Rise of Tomb Raider in 4K and having a similar experience. I think the cut scenes are in 1080p.
Torrents are all well and good until you want an album from more than a couple of years ago.
My current workflow. Find a band that I like. Add it to lidarr. Wait 10min. All of their albums are in Plex and can be streamed from anywhere in the world.
Not sure if you mean find recommendations of new stuff to listen to, or the download source? Recommendations from Last.fm Download source is currently Deezer. Lidarr+ scripts has a bit of a learning curve https://github.com/RandomNinjaAtk/arr-scripts
Spotify was OK back when I used it after Google Music died. YouTube Music’s algorithm sucked so I used Spotify for about a year. Then I installed Plex for movies and TV but also found it was also great at streaming music. PlexAmp gives me access to a good suggestion algorithm. I made the decision to give them my $$ instead. Now with lidarr+scripts I can have any music I want with almost zero effort. Plus, as the OP said, I get the fun little side hobby of music curation.
I have been using MPC as long as I can remember. Never could make the jump to VLC. Currently run MPC-BE.
For Australia I would go with Snowtown for the bodies in barrels. Or maybe Kendall where William Tyrrell disappeared. Both towns are pretty small.
