A bunch of generic Concerta drugs were removed from the market awhile back and several more sprung up. They’re nowhere near the same and the quality is garbage. I was on one in college while on state insurance. They use some older release mechanism from like the 80s using a pinhole on one side and half of my true generic pills didn’t even have a visible hole. I ended up in the ER because one released all at once at like 7pm, and I thought I was dying due to excessive adrenaline.
I have no clue what out of pocket is these days, but my insurance only charges me $12 for name brand Concerta. I know at one time there was an authorized generic sold by Janssen I believe was their name, but it’s still the same patented pill. That might be what my prescription is filled as.
PSA for anyone who cares: Authorized Generics are the name brand sold cheaper. True Generics are a completely different pill sold as “bio-identical”.
Don’t quote me on this last bit, but I believe bio identical only has to be like 80% similar, which is why so many generics cause so many problems for so many people
Sounds like you’re on Ritalin? You might try name brand Concerta (NO GENERICS!!). It’s just extended release Ritalin in a fancy patented delivery mechanism that all the generics can’t copy. It lasts all day and I just have to remember to take it before noon once per day.
You’re never too old to learn when to use where vs were ;)
They’ve unfortunately been doing scummy things for a very long time as well. Over a decade ago I banked with them and my account went a few dollars negative. They charged eight dollars a day every day for like a month and a half and refused to reverse it so I just let it go to collections.
Whatever it is, it curled up like a pill bug when poked
For real?
Lol. Yeah talk about cursed content. Making a realistic camera in blender!
Beehaw banned 5 users from lemmy.world of like 20,000 and decided to defederate (block) the entire instance (server). You’re posting on a copy stored locally and only other lemmy.world users will see your comments.
I just checked, and Beehaw has defederated with 388 instances. Either the fediverse is overrun with nazis, or you’re making a massive generalization and Beehaw is being ridiculous.
Ah I see. I’ve never heard the term PWA, but yeah I did that as well for lemmyworld on iOS. My one complaint is there doesn’t seem to be a way to refresh the “app”
I mean the beauty of the fediverse is you can have your cake and eat it too in this scenario. If someone wants to spin up an instance that’s just reposts that duplicate communities elsewhere, you could selectively subscribe to both or only the one without reposts.
YSK: This doesn’t work in DuckDuckGo because I just independently had the idea to try this a few days ago and returned no results. I didn’t think to try on Google. I believe DuckDuckGo is running on Microsoft Bing so it likely doesn’t work there either
Have you been paying attention to Reddit content for the past I don’t even know how many years? It’s all TikTok and twitter reposts, and before that it was 9gag and 4chan reposts. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with what op is asking if the past is anything to go off of
Can we hold off on this for a bit while things settle? I personally posted a story about investor concerns over Reddit’s blackout here because of the high visibility and because beehaw.org was blocking instances. Lo and behold they have blocked us so I guess it was a good call even though their Tech community would have been a better fit. I could have also made a new community here I suppose, but again, there’s no eyes on that.
Isn’t lemmy.world literally like 15 days old? Let’s not be too quick to turn this into a Discord server with 50 channels and 10 users. There’s nothing wrong with piling everything in one place when there’s barely any content to speak of anyways.
EDIT: I just created a new community to repost these locked posts in order of most comments:
Welcome to Lemmy.World General! This is a community for general discussion where you can get your bearings in the fediverse, discuss topics & ask questions that don’t seem to fit in any other community.
For server-specific announcements & questions, please see Lemmyworld, and if you’re really new to all this, check out the Newcomers community, but anything else? That’s what General’s for!
So I guess the next question is do we now recreate beehaw communities that were popular and fragment the community, or do we make accounts on a smaller instance that has access to beehaw.org and lemmy.world? I’m not about to start logging in and out of multiple accounts because beehaw mods are getting butt hurt…
According to the second video I linked, a resident of Kowloon spent the better part of six years mapping out the city. Here’s the timestamp: https://youtu.be/PcSBOUpgngM?t=794
